Our Fleet

AMS offer you the service of two motorbikes, as well as the usual variety of estate cars, small vans and transit vans. We have currently increased both our biker and large van fleet. Both bikes have reinforced panniers and top boxes, which are guaranteed to survive in the unlikely event of an accident. We are one of the few courier companies in Newbury that actually has bikes.

Motorbikes & Small Vans

Generally we will use a motorbike if the packages are documents or envelopes weighing less than 10 kilogrammes (22 lbs).* We use motorbikes where traffic congestion may be a problem, particularly on London runs. Small vans can carry up to 500 kilogrammes (½ a ton).

Transit Vans

We have a range of long wheel base Transit Vans at our disposal, including Hightop vans for the transportation of large items. Generally we will use a Transit Van if the items are either very bulky or weigh more than 500 kilogrammes (½ a ton).
Our Transit capacity is up to 2.2m high, 4.5m in length and 1.5 tons in weight.

* We can, however, carry laptops and other small parcels in the panniers and top boxes.
