Andy Stanton

After completing a degree in Business Studies, and a period working in Spain teaching English as a foreign language, Andy first gained experience of the courier industry by working as a controller in the logistics department at Sony. From there he progressed to the position of Distribution Manager for a Heathrow based Company responsible for Sony’s UK delivery operations.

Frustrated by the lack of opportunities, and wanting to pursue an ambition to run his own Company, led Andy to start AMS with two friends in his hometown of Newbury in 1990.

Although the business has grown steadily over this period, Andy has always strived to maintain the Company’s ‘personal’ feel and his will generally be the voice you hear at the other end of the telephone. Andy’s role is Director of day-to-day operations and he is dedicated to fulfilling any collection or delivery requirement at any time of the day or night as the company operates 24/7.
